Rocketman - shoot a daredevil into the sky in this action arcade game! The idea is to go as far as you can by bouncing on trampolines, crashing through crate walls, and rocketing to other galaxies.
The loop of Rocketman gameplay is all on timing and momentum. You enter the Big Top at the start of each round and work your math skills, calculating the correct power and arc before firing the gun. Once airborne, the game becomes a mad physics puzzle, bouncing off balloons and hoops to keep the stunt kid in the air. You will slow down by hitting things such as crate walls, but you will remain aloft if you can chain-bounce off of them.
The distances you progress increase exponentially. You'll go from the lowly circus tents, to the Fairground, to the City, to the Sky, to the outskirts of Space. The transition delivers a great sensation of speed and magnitude to every successful blast.
You just do as much as possible in Rocketman, shooting scattered coins. Conversely, more rewards will be at stake when you complete missions, and you can use them as an investment for important equipment upgrades. You can purchase improvements to your gunpowder, suit, helmet, aim, and rockets. These upgrades completely alter the nature of your flight, allowing you to tear down thicker walls, provide fresh flair to your appearance, and fly farther than ever to break your distance record.
Fuel check and upgrade: A big flight record. If you miss a trampoline, don't instantly waste your rocket boost after leaving the barrel, but instead reserve it for some course correction or height maintenance. Invest your money early on in upgrading gunpowder and rocket fuel: mid-air correction and raw launch power will prove to be the best value for the money, especially in the early part of the game. —Pop hoops and balloons, which occur between the City and Sky levels.
