Real Driving Simulator is an addictive first-person traffic-dodging adventure, where you get right behind the wheel in heavy traffic routes. So the bulk of the gameplay is manoeuvring between an infinite stream of erratic cars, challenging your reflexes to the max and (hopefully) avoiding a massive collision.
The asphalt in Real Driving Simulator is just on the money, to give you a high-tension driving experience that needs your whole attention every second. The pace is medium in the beginning, but soon becomes out of control with crazy traffic clogging the roadway. Lane changing is heavy and responsive, and you need to calculate the correct distance to overtake a huge truck or a sluggish moving cart. The AI drivers are always threatening a sudden lane shift to have you sweating on the keyboard, making the gameplay loop an adrenaline-fuelled test of survival.
The central aim is to cover as much distance as possible, while aggressively overtaking other vehicles to score points. Every successful run earns you cash that directly feeds into permanent income upgrades and unlocks a fleet of faster cars. You also unlock 4 separate driving locations as you progress, each one requiring faster reflexes to dodge everything from standard automobiles to large buses and surprise horse carts.
You have to anticipate what the drivers in front of you are going to do. Often they change lanes just as you are trying to pass. Hazard lights and a horn may help encourage other drivers to move over, but don’t count on them too much, as many will simply ignore the warning. To get more points, accept the huge risk of cutting across into the oncoming traffic lane, but be sure you have a fast way to get back to safety before you crash head-on and end your run.
