Heroball Run is an entertaining 3D platformer in which you control a red bouncing ball throughout difficult obstacle courses. Your mission? To help your bouncy hero reach the end of the level without rolling off the platforms or tripping over death traps.
In this vibrant universe you step into, you'll need superb spatial awareness and great reflexes... The map is a continually shifting landscape of changing levels and small ledges, with the inertia of the rolling sphere always fighting against the momentum of the map.
A single slip-up in speed or trajectory sends you spiraling into the void, leaving you to start again. As the levels increase in difficulty, your mechanical talents will be tested to the maximum.
You must traverse hazardous 3D settings to get to the finish of each stage. The track itself attempts to impede your progress with giant chasms, wandering adversaries, and environmental riddles that force you to think fast. As a seasoned arcade gamer, I know how vital a stable camera angle is for your leaping talents. In Heroball Run, you will find yourself continuously adjusting your sight to catch traps and find paths ahead of you, and not jump to your death.
In Heroball Run, you need to have a little patience and timing to make it through those challenging layouts. If you're jumping onto a moving platform, make sure you always have the camera behind your man before you jump, or you'll just jump at some crazy angle and plummet to your doom. Attempt to use the path of moving foes for efficient charging. Also, watch for collectibles on the course. Crossing the finish line will net you the win, but finding these items will give you bonus points and unlock achievements.
The later levels are going to require you to use the special power-ups on the track to your advantage if you hope to get any farther. Hopping onto one of these things will give you (the globe) a huge speed boost, a higher jump for larger gaps, or (sometimes) even a temporary invincibility frame where you can just roll over any foes! It's all about using these powers judiciously to overcome the toughest areas of the terrain.
