Xmas Dash is a Christmas-themed “dash/jump-obstacle” platform game. In the game, you will control a character—usually a blocky version of Santa Claus—who runs continuously and overcomes obstacles in a world of falling snow, pine trees, gifts, and a winter atmosphere.
Movement & control: The character will run from left to right; you mainly press the Space key or ↑ (up arrow) or click the mouse to jump at the right time over the obstacles.
Character transformation: During the game, the character can transform (e.g., from block form to “airplane” or “sliding” form) to suit each special path.
Collect & avoid collisions: You should collect Christmas gifts, candy canes or festive symbols while avoiding obstacles such as spikes, sharp edges, and gaps in the ground. Collision or falling will cause the level to end.
Game Mode & Practice: Before entering the “main” level, you can play Practice mode to get familiar with the path and checkpoints.
Get used to the jump rhythm: Practice at the beginning to get used to the feeling of “when to jump,” as the speed will increase and the path will be more difficult.
Watch the transformation: When the character transforms (like sliding or flying), you should prepare another action (not just “jump”) to avoid being surprised.
Stay calm when encountering difficult obstacles: The speed and rhythm of the transformation will make you prone to making mistakes if you are nervous—focusing on looking ahead will help.
